Privacy Policy
CompeteHub ("we", "our", "the app") is a social game-tracking app made by Uniqueness L.L.C, a company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. It covers the CompeteHub app for iPhone, Apple Watch and Android, and the competehub.app website.
By using CompeteHub, you agree to what's described below. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. What We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you sign in, we receive basic info from your sign-in provider:

You can also join a group without signing in. In that case we link you to the group using your device ID (see 1.6) and the player name you pick.
You can set a player display name and a profile photo in the app. Other group members see these.
1.2 Game & Group Data
- Groups: Group name, group code, member list, and roles
- Games: Game type, player names, scores, rounds, dates, rules, and results
- Statistics: Win/loss records, streaks, leaderboard rankings, and achievements
- Series & Competitions: Multi-game scores, win conditions, and progress
- Schedules & check-ins: Planned games and who said they're coming
1.3 The Host
The Host is an AI character in the app. You can chat with it by text. On Pro, Max and Ultra plans (yours or your group's) you can also talk to it by live voice.
- Text chats: What you send the Host (we keep a shortened copy of long messages) and the Host's replies are stored on our servers, so the Host can follow the chat and remember your group.
- Things you tell the Host: Whispers, nicknames, inside jokes and other memories you teach the Host about your group, plus any thumbs-up or thumbs-down and notes you leave on its replies.
- Live voice: Your voice is streamed live to ElevenLabs, which turns your speech into text, runs the conversation and speaks the Host's replies. We don't record or store your voice audio. The text of what was said (your words and the Host's replies) is saved on our servers, like a text chat. ElevenLabs handles the conversation under its own privacy policy and may keep a record of it for a limited time.
- The Host's spoken replies: When the Host reads a reply out loud, the reply text is sent to ElevenLabs to make the voice, and we store the sound clip on our servers.
- On Android, the Host listens through your phone's built-in speech recognition (run by Google or your phone maker), and only the text reaches us.
- What the Host uses to answer: Your group's game data — players' display names, scores, standings and game history — plus the memories saved for your group.
- Group page: The Host also writes recaps, weekly summaries and other cards for your group's page from the same game data.
1.4 Content You Create
- Custom Memes: Photos, video clips and sound recordings you upload or create in the app for celebration moments
- AI-Generated Content: Memes, images, videos, captions and sounds made with our AI features, and memes CompeteHub suggests on its own after games. To make them, we send the AI service the game details (game type, scores, what happened), the names of the players involved, any text you type, and any photo or video you choose to use. We store the results so your group can see them. Content made with free AI tools may also be used by CompeteHub for promotion and marketing (see our Terms of Service Section 7). We don't use content made with purchased credits or a paid plan for promotion or marketing without your permission. All content may be reviewed to fix problems and improve the app, as explained in section 2.1.
- Score photos: When you scan a scoreboard, cards or a domino rack, the photo is sent to our servers so AI can read the score. If you confirm a scoreboard scan, we keep the photo with the game, unless your group owner turned off cloud media for the group. Domino tiles are read on your phone, so those photos stay on your phone unless you report a wrong reading (then the photo and what the scanner read are sent to us so we can make the scanner better, including training it).
Live streaming to YouTube is switched off in the app right now. If we turn it back on, we'll update this policy first.
1.5 Phone Permissions
The app only asks for these when you use the feature, and you can say no:
- Camera: to scan QR codes, scores, cards and domino tiles, and to take meme photos
- Microphone: to record sounds for memes and to talk to the Host by voice
- Photos: to pick photos for memes, score scans and your profile photo, and to save memes you choose to keep
- Notifications: to send you game updates and invites
1.6 Device Information
- Device Identifier: When you first open the app, it creates a random ID stored on your device (on iPhone it stays even if you delete and reinstall the app). This is not an advertising ID — it's an app-only ID that links your device to your groups and game history.
- Device Verification (iPhone): When you sign in, create or join a group, we check that your device is a real iPhone using Apple's built-in DeviceCheck. No personal information is involved in this check.
- Notification token and app details: a token so we can send you notifications, plus your app version, phone type (iPhone or Android) and time zone.
1.7 Usage & Error Reports
- App Usage: We track general usage patterns like which screens you visit and which features you use. These events never include your email. They can include group and game IDs, and some leaderboard screens also send the player names you tapped on.
- Crash Reports: If the app crashes, we collect error details along with your device model and software version to help us find and fix the problem. Crash reports are linked to your device ID or account ID.
- Preferences: Your plan (free, Pro, Max or Ultra), chosen language, and chosen theme are recorded to help us understand which features people use most.
- Diagnostics you send: If you tap "Share diagnostics" in the app, we receive the app's recent log lines, your app and phone software version, your player name and group code, so we can look into your problem.
- Website Visits: When you visit competehub.app, we record anonymous page and click events (for example which pages you view, which buttons you tap, your browser language and how you reached the site) to understand how the site is used. We use our own server logs and Google Analytics for this. Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser; we don't load it if your browser sends Do-Not-Track or Global Privacy Control.
1.8 Purchase Information
When you buy a subscription, credits or a pack, the payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We use RevenueCat to keep track of purchases. We receive what you bought, whether it's active, start and end dates, the store, and your country — we never see or store your payment details, card number, or account password.
1.9 What We Do NOT Collect
- Your precise location (GPS)
- Your contacts or address book
- Health or fitness data
- Your browsing history
- Your Apple advertising ID
- Your phone number

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your personal information with anyone for marketing.
2.1 Reviewing Conversations and AI Content
We look over Host conversations (text chats and voice transcripts), the things members tell the Host, and AI-generated content to find mistakes — wrong facts, wrong names, bad replies, broken features — and to make the Host and the app better.
- Much of this checking is done with AI tools, using the AI providers listed in section 3.
- People on our team also read conversations and AI content when doing this work, when fixing a problem you reported, when answering your own support request, or when looking into abuse or a safety problem.
- For many AI requests (such as memes and score photos), we keep a record of what was sent and what came back for about 90 days, to find and fix problems.
- We don't sell this content and we don't use it for advertising.

Our AI providers use what we send them to give you the feature you asked for. Each one handles it under its own terms, linked above.
4. How We Store & Protect Your Data
4.1 On Your Device
Your login session and device ID are stored in your device's secure storage. Your preferences (like theme and language) are stored privately within the app — no other app can access them.
4.2 On Our Servers
Your game data, group memberships, stats, and account info are stored on our servers. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted.
Photos, videos and sounds (memes, score photos, profile photos) are stored on our cloud servers so the app can show them to your group. If you share one outside the app, people you share it with may be able to see it.
4.3 How Long We Keep It
- Game data and stats — kept as long as your group exists (needed for leaderboards and group history)
- Host chats, voice transcripts and memories — kept until you clear them in the app or ask us to delete them
- Your voice audio — not stored by us
- Live voice records at ElevenLabs — kept by ElevenLabs for a limited time under its own policy
- Memes, photos, Host voice clips and other files — kept until you ask us to delete them
- Records of AI requests — about 90 days
- Scan reports you send — kept to improve the scanner, until you ask us to delete them
- Login sessions — expire automatically after a short time
- Diagnostics you send — kept in our server logs for about 30 days
- Usage data — kept for up to 14 months
- Crash reports — kept for up to 90 days
5. Your Rights & Choices
5.1 Access & Deletion
You can delete your account in the app from your profile (Delete Account). This closes your account, removes your Apple or Google sign-in from it, unlinks you from your player names in every group, and signs you out on all devices. Your games stay in each group's history under the player name used in that group, so other members' scores and leaderboards stay correct.
To have your personal data erased — your account details, your memes and photos, and anything else linked to you — email us at privacy@competehub.app. You can also email us to see a copy of your data.
You can clear your own Host chat history and the Host's memories from the Host settings in the app. You can also ask us at the same address to delete your Host conversations, the things you told the Host, and your memes. Deleting your account doesn't remove these by itself, so email us if you want them gone too.

5.3 Get Your Data
You can request a copy of your game history and stats by emailing privacy@competehub.app.
6. Children's Privacy
CompeteHub is not made for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has shared personal information with us, please email us at privacy@competehub.app and we'll delete it right away.
7. Where Your Data Goes
CompeteHub is based in the United Arab Emirates. Our servers and database run on Google Cloud in Doha, Qatar. Live game updates go through Firebase in Europe (Belgium). Some of our service providers, including Google/Firebase and the AI providers in section 3, process data in the United States and other countries. By using the app, you agree to this.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make important changes, we'll let you know through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page. If you keep using CompeteHub after changes are made, that means you accept the updated policy.
