Privacy Policy
CompeteHub ("we", "our", "the app") is a social game-tracking app made by Uniqueness for Online Selling, based in the United Arab Emirates. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.
By using CompeteHub, you agree to what's described below. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. What We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you sign in, we receive basic info from your sign-in provider:

You can also set a player display name in the app. This is the name other group members see.
1.2 Game & Group Data
- Groups: Group name, group code, member list, and roles
- Games: Game type, player names, scores, rounds, dates, rules, and results
- Statistics: Win/loss records, streaks, leaderboard rankings, and achievements
- Series & Competitions: Multi-game scores, win conditions, and progress
1.3 Content You Create
- Custom Memes: Images and video clips you upload or create in the app for celebration moments
- AI-Generated Content: Memes and visual assets generated using our AI-powered features. CompeteHub may also automatically suggest memes based on recent game activity within your group, using AI to generate contextual and fun content. Only anonymous game data (game type, scores, round outcomes) is sent to AI services — no personal information is included. Content created with free AI tools may be used by CompeteHub for promotional purposes and service improvement (see our Terms of Service Section 7 for details). Content generated using purchased credits or paid subscriptions is not used for these purposes.
- Live Streams: If you choose to live stream a game, the app uses your device's camera and microphone to broadcast to YouTube. The stream is created on your YouTube account with the privacy setting you choose (public, unlisted, or private).
1.4 Device Information
- Device Identifier: When you first open the app, it creates a random ID stored on your device. This is not your Apple advertising ID — it's an anonymous, app-only ID that links your device to your groups and game history.
- Device Verification: During sign-in, we verify that your device is genuine using Apple's built-in verification system. No personal information is involved in this check.
1.5 Usage & Error Reports
- App Usage: We track general usage patterns like which screens you visit and which features you use. These events are anonymous — they never include your name, email, or any personal details.
- Crash Reports: If the app crashes, we collect error details along with your device model and software version to help us find and fix the problem.
- Preferences: Your subscription type (free or pro), chosen language, and chosen theme are recorded to help us understand which features people use most.
1.6 Purchase Information
When you make an in-app purchase, the payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We only receive confirmation that your purchase went through — we never see or store your payment details, credit card number, or Apple ID password.
1.7 What We Do NOT Collect
- Your location
- Your contacts or address book
- Health or fitness data
- Your browsing history
- Your Apple advertising ID
- Your phone number

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your personal information with anyone for marketing.
3. Services We Use
CompeteHub relies on the following services to work. Each has their own privacy policy:

3.1 YouTube & Live Streaming
CompeteHub uses YouTube to let you live stream your game sessions. By using the live streaming feature, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
When you go live:
- The app asks for permission to create and manage live broadcasts on your YouTube channel. This permission is only requested when you tap "Go Live" — never during regular sign-in. Technically, the app uses a YouTube permission called
youtube.force-ssl, which is the minimum access needed to start and manage broadcasts on your behalf. - The broadcast lives on your YouTube account — CompeteHub doesn't own or control it
- Video and audio go directly from your device to YouTube
- You pick the privacy setting (public, unlisted, or private) before going live
- You can stop the broadcast at any time from within the app
You can remove CompeteHub's YouTube access at any time from Google Security Settings. Removing access does not delete broadcasts already on your YouTube channel.
4. How We Store & Protect Your Data
4.1 On Your Device
Your login session is stored securely in your device's encrypted storage. Your preferences (like theme and language) and device identifier are stored privately within the app — no other app can access them.
4.2 On Our Servers
Your game data, group memberships, stats, and account info are stored on our servers. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted.
4.3 How Long We Keep It
- Game data and stats — kept as long as your account exists (needed for leaderboards and group history)
- Login sessions — expire automatically after a short time
- Usage data — kept for up to 14 months
- Crash reports — kept for up to 90 days
5. Your Rights & Choices
5.1 Access & Deletion
You can ask to see or delete your personal data by emailing us at privacy@competehub.app. If you ask us to delete your data, we will:
- Delete your account
- Remove you from all groups
- Delete your custom memes from our servers
- Keep only anonymous game scores (with no way to identify you) so leaderboards stay accurate

5.3 Get Your Data
You can request a copy of your game history and stats by emailing privacy@competehub.app.
6. Children's Privacy
CompeteHub is not made for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has shared personal information with us, please email us at privacy@competehub.app and we'll delete it right away.
7. Where Your Data Goes
CompeteHub is based in the United Arab Emirates. If you use the app from outside the UAE, your data may be sent to and stored in the UAE and other countries where our service providers operate (including the United States for Google/Firebase services). By using the app, you agree to this.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make important changes, we'll let you know through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page. If you keep using CompeteHub after changes are made, that means you accept the updated policy.
